I would want to keep it as I need something to haul things around in, especially housing rehab materials.

Assuming the contractor is planning to provide:- Labor- Materials (including architectural shingles and similar gutter specs)- Tear off of existing roof and haul-away- Liability insurance- Workers comp insuranceThen I don't know where there can be much room for confusion on a bid. 

They were toying with the idea of cutting the basement floor, replacing that portion, then near the foundation, pushing another pipe through the cracked pipe out the foundation and to the sidewalk. 

Then you pay much less to haul the remains away, from what I understand of a BP member that did this.

So if you are in it for the long haul I would say you can get some deals.

I did start out with an FHA however I have been toying with refinancing as it the market has done fairly well here and the home value has increased enough to drop the MIP off as the value to loan has reached the 80% mark.

There could be many different reasons for this continued success but I thought it was interesting because I always thought that incurring debt would probably be the fastest way to accumulate wealth in real estate, especially given that interest rates are at record lows.If you're in for the long haul and you have a lot of time on your hands, and most importantly, you have the means, is it a good idea to buy say a property for $150,000 cash or buy three properties with mortgages and put down $50,000 on each?

I install them myself and pay someone 20$ to help me haul the new one in and the old one out.
