@Ben Curry Are you a real estate agent? I rarely have anyone in my car.  I only have clients in my car if they are here on a one day house hunting trip, and they don't know the area.  My local clients just meet me at the house were are seeing.  The truck should be fine unless you are putting 15k+ miles/year driving clients around.  I might look for something more fuel efficient at that point.

If that is what you have, and your clientele is limited, that's what you should use. If business is booming and you're going through $500 worth of gas per week, I'd consider switching.

Keep in mind that almost always, the car (or truck) that you own is the cheapest car you can drive. People make this mistake *all the time*, mostly (in my opinion) as a way of justifying buying something new.

PS: You may occasionally have to make accommodations for the elderly or disabled clients. Usually this means you can have them drive and ride in their vehicle.

If I were you I would purchase a clean affordable used vehicle for clients and save the truck for the real work.

My question is, unless you are a real estate agent, why are you transporting people around in your vehicle and is it insured for that purpose.

Clients don't care what kind of vehicle you drive as long as it's CLEAN!

I used to drive a 2-door Chevy Cavalier.  Had CEOs, doctors, lawyers, etc. and they'd always mention how clean it was.  Never had a problem.

I would use something that is fuel efficient. All day of driving clients around in a truck that large is like $60 eventually it adds up. You want to cut costs where ever you can. I would only use this vehicles in situations where you are certain there is going to be enough people going to fill the capacity. Thats why taxis are now mostly Toyota Prius instead of the Ford Crown Victoria. Hope this helps.
