Specifically, they said " they were never contacted for payment and the HOA is not volunteer "(I'm assuming the title lady told the director I stated it was....and I also signed paperwork and seller disclosures it was volunteer because that was my understanding).

There's also the HGTV crowd.They've been studiously watching Flip This House, Fixer Upper, Love It or List It and now know *everything* about flipping houses. 

I called my county tax collector’s office to ask for the tax delinquency list, for the first time, but the lady said they do not keep a list.
