I stepped outside and called the police. $350 worth of my stuff was missing (and I had receipts for it all), he had drugs in his possession.

Then I also recommend City of Wilmington Policy Department website where they publish monthly crime statistics by police jurisdiction.

@Amanda Whiteley If the people in the home are in fact tenants and they pay the property manangememt company after you switch, then what I was told was the tenant still owes you the money and the tenant  will need to report the money as stolen to the police and they will need to try to collect it that way. 

It comes with the price of the room, unless we did damages.I have rented to doctors, ministers, Police Officers, and let me tell you, they are slobs.

They will have presentations by a DNS inspector and a police officer.  

Then we got a call from the neighbor saying someone was sleeping on the roof one night and the neighbor called the police.

Did they call the police or did the police raid the house?

We use facebook, police logs, etc. 

The police presence (both housing authority and metro PD) seems to be significantly higher in SW than in any of the other areas of the District with high concentrations of poverty-- even on non game days.

Just be thankful you didn't have commercial property in a place where peaceful people were allowed to blow off some steam and to be heard where somehow your building got burned without whatever special insurance covers riots at a place where the police won't go.
