Some friends have built impressive portfolios there over the years, its definitely block by block and you're not far from some other great opportunity zones like Grand Rapids.  

If you are looking at new builds here I really like Florence and Casa Grande; Coolidge and Maricopa are good too.  

Ohio cracked down after the GR and enforcement seems to be stronger than most other states, except maybe Illinois. 

When I bought the property my goal was to put all the earnings back into the house as equity and pay it off asap just to have the extra two grand a month for the rest of my life.

@Tadeh Vartanian I also own a duplex in Grand Rapids, MI and a condo in Kalamazoo, MI. 

I know a couple of people who went the next meeting and they spent another couple of grand!

Unless a grand slam of a deal comes along- you will be better sitting there with the cash just waiting for the right opportunity

@Mike SullivanI would recommend areas such as Ann Arbour or Grosse Point or Grand Rapids.

Grand Prairie, Arlington and Ft Worth with rent ranges between 1200-1800/month.
