The building can be a stick build or prefab modular or something off the wall like a Tiny House, etc.

But that's only here in my tiny part of the world.

We are preparing a tiny house vacation rental, but since we are about 20 miles south of Houston, I doubt we'd be able to draw in a business traveler.

No fences to have to upkeep, a basic deck on the back of them, all concrete stained floors, wooden cabin looking walls so no Sheetrock or paint to be done.

It's not buildable for conforming home, so I was thinking about developing the lot into a space for a tiny house, and then renting on AirBnB.The lot is not improved, but in the city with all utilities at street - in my mind, this would be like developing a one-space mobile park...bring in utilities, a pad and some landscaping.

I am thinking the kitchen that needs that tiny table to make it right or the perfect place for a microwave shelf. 

I like the idea that you can get a decent rental house up and running and paying you every month for relatively tiny money.

I was thinking of installing a door saddle/threshold, but a wooden saddle might be slippery enough to make someone trip.  

I can tell you the taxes in North Carolina were tiny in comparison to most parts of Texas. suburbs of Dallas, Texas and Houston texas are great.
