I say "sort of" because all though I am new ( Within this concluding year i've been studying, cold calling, and i've almost closed on a few deals ), I have yet to close on that first deal though.

It's crazy to think you have to get the lawyer involved because letters from those who can prove the foundation is at risk of collapsing should be more than enough evidence to have HOA back down.However, I find it hard to believe that the HOA is entirely free to selectively apply rules.

This is not a matter of opinion, and here is how I will prove this to you.

Can't remember where I came up with mine but no way would I fork over $2000 for a lease.I'd suggest studying the landlord/tenant laws for Georgia. 

If he refuses to be reasonable, you can just pay him what you think it's worth and put the onus on him to take you to court and prove his case in front of a judge. 

First step is to study and understand securities laws :)
