(Normally I wouldn't bother someone on a holiday but he is a good friend and has been my mentor for 40+ years.

For example, you couldn't provide your 2 paystubs from the holidays because the tips you received there are not an accurate representation of what you actually make regularly. 

We are doing it at the Holiday Inn, Downtown Mobile.

I am currently in San Luis Obispo, doing a government project nearby, here at Holiday Inn Express, but I'll be taking off tomorrow night.

Try seeing if they have a store in your area or there is one similar.Also, try hitting the Lowe's and Home Depot's of the world on holiday weekends.  

It could vary by a day or two depending on holidays or Sundays etc but generally speaking once the 15th rolls around we put out the 3 day notice.

Especially during the holiday season, there will be deals to be had.
