Hi Guys,I know I’m a little late to the game with my reply, but here goes…I too am frustrated by investment opportunities in SoCal.

Value every hour, you won't be able to do everything full time investors can, and you may have to pay for services that others can manage themselves, but being in the game and achieving what is possible with the time available is better than sitting on the sidelines.

I used to go to games there and it was BAD. it's turned around. same thing with cabrini green (north side near Lincoln park). big-time $ there now.by and large though, 99% of the time, a bad area won't turn around though. personally, I try like crazy to stay away from S8.

Paying some amount and getting poker chips or monopoly money to use toward a purchase is nothing but a shell game, it's clearly a method to allow credits from rents paid to buy a property.
