I almost hit the "Buy" button but thought, "you know, I should probably research this guy first (even as "nice" and "reliable" he sounds on his intro video when you go to check out.

I've been trying to analyze deals using Rod Khleif's quick analyzing video.

Furthermore, having a Pro membership allows you to post a video on your profile (check out mine) which can help people see that you are a real person.

Post a bunch of signs saying no trespassing/video surveillance in progress. 

Pictures can help, but video is much better.

Take the online free video course, start going through the podcasts, buy a few books on long-distance investing, find locals in the business to spend time with and then start asking focused questions that show preparation and determination.

I would recommend you create a bank book, this is something you can google online or on Youtube to watch a video on how to create a bank book, and work with local banks. 

@Brandon Ingegneri my guess is that, as painful as this may be right now, it is most likely just the story of the moment and will soon be forgotten when the next funny cat video gets posted.The only exception to this that I can think of is if your company name shows up in Google search results you do not want that being on the first page in two or three months from now, so if you find that is the case you might consider hiring a company that specializes in fixing that kind of thing.I think that if you go that route you might Google something like "online reputation management".
