Take into account other items like flooring, cabinets, countertops, etc.

We do some light painting, change out fixtures/fans, change out cabinet pulls, do caulking on bathtubs and trim, etc etc. 

Home Depot products I feel like are not as well made when it comes to stock items like cabinets.  

People see the cosmetic stuff and think the property is junky, which may mean you get the property for less because inexperienced buyers don't know to look beyond rusty fixtures or ugly cabinets.

He has tiled floors and walls, installed kitchen and bath cabinets, replaced facia boards, replaced windows, painted, installed doors and drywall, etc.  

Mistake after mistake, mis management after mismangement, and finally sheet rock is up and we can get a GC in there to finish the rest (trim, doors, cabinets, tile, decks, fences, flooring).

We continue to find spiders and ants crawling throughout random areas of the house (probably because all the baseboards and door casing are 1/4 inch from being tight, and the fake wood floor that was put in was done in such a way that I can see dirt underneath certain spots where it is short from the wall/cabinets), but I try to deal with the spiders and ants on my own by just spraying some bug killer purchased at Target - I don't want to be that needy tenant.About a month into our lease, I am giving the apartment a deep clean, and I end up finding two dead roaches.

I then made a motion to have them remove the documented information that we had "interfered with parking enforcement" considering its not a real policy and that it is unlawful to document such accusations and opinions without facts dialogue corroboration and it seems to me they are building a caee against me that they can later use to target or retalliate if they werent doing so already.... it is not in any of the by laws of the cc&r or parking policies..They denied my request to erase the false accusation of interference and assured me the only person to see that record was the secretarys file cabinet..which i called BS because clearly the last parking vioaltion notice i had received the volunteer parking enforecement had hand written down on the notice that my fiance had interfered with the towing of a neighbors car.. at this point i feel powerless i feel i am getting targetted and retalliated against. which by the way is against the law.. ive saved every document letter and issuance they have sent me. so hopefully it doesnt persist...i feel we need a set of checks and balances cause in my opinion this is starting to clearly look like the HOA is overstepping there powers and not lawfully following their fiduciary duties...
