Not a real estate book, but the 7 habits that are explained in the book are very powerful in any environment where you will interact with people.

Better yet notice silent triggers of pain points the prospect might be facing and connect them with a vendor from your network that can solve their pain points.By doing this it will let the interaction have a longer life span and will keep you top of mind when it it is time to sell their property.  

There were portions that I liked and portions that I thought could be improved upon.I believe that group cohesiveness and openness are two keys to creating the best environment for people to interact whether they be someone new to REI, like myself, or the most experienced member of a meetup.I am curious...What in your opinion makes for the most optimal meetup?

I would rather minimize my interaction with the IRS.

Honestly I feel I can find value in any "person to person" interaction so I truly appreciate everyone who took the time out of their day to type up a response and give me their perspective but I can truly say you hit the nail on the head and is exactly where my mind is set on. 

If they do sell, they have little or no tax because of the stepped up basis.Most months my interaction with the tenant involves a reminder text message that the rent is due, watching the bank account around rent time to see when the deposits are made and mailing out a receipt.

I've never invested with him, but he has a great reputation (as does his company) and in all my interactions with him, he's exuded nothing but integrity and expertise.

I'm looking forward to interacting with the community.
