There is also Island County (Oak Harbor) that has a great rental market, partially due to the military population.

I would recommend researching the economic growth and landlord laws of each area.Texas has great landlord/tenant laws and one of the fastest growing economies in the world that's currently the 8th largest economy in the world.

Curious about a forum within the South Carolina forums for the Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and perhaps Beaufort SC (all in County of Beaufort).
