Besides attending foreclosure auctions to get a feel for them, do you have any other suggestions as to education immersion I can do to learn about real estate?

The main thing is to get educated on the space, immerse yourselves and become experts at all aspects of the business.

I have immersed myself in turning one of our rentals into an Airbnb vacation rental for the past year, (very lucrative at this point, not sure how it will fare during a Minnesota winter) and will continue to try to keep myself "otherwise occupied". :-) Thank you, thank you, thank you. 

I have also taken the initiative to get my real estate license (through licensesolution.com) as a way to get more immersed into the vocabulary, laws, etc.

Totally immerse yourself, attend REI meetups and groups then get out there and take action.

You really need to immerse yourself and learn all you can.

@Michael Whillock  There are number of free podcasts, meetups, and/or facebook groups to initially immerse you in notes. 

. - Try to get on bigger pockets as often as you can to immerse yourself . - Attend networking events.When you get to reach a step higher, throw down the ladder for another to climb.
