Hey everyone, I’m new to the real estate game. I’ve been reading and listening to a lot of podcasts lately, trying to learn as much as I can in order to make my first deal. I discovered this site though podcast and now hoping this will help me on my journey. What are the basic to making my first deal in a MFH? What make a good/profitable deal?

@Joey Saldaña

Welcome to BP! I'm going to sound like a broken record when I repeat what others including @Greg Dickerson said.

1) Education is the key! Keep reading until you figure out what niche within RE investing you want to pick for yourself.

2)Another helpful resource is podcasts. In addition to BP, listen to other REI related podcasts.

3) Find local REI clubs via BP and meetup sites and network with like-minded investors.

4) Once you narrow down your niche, laser-focus on it only!

5) Take action!
