@Marc Padilla If Jax is your area of focus, I'd definitely recommend joining JaxREIM on meetup (more of a marketplace where wholesalers and investors message each other) and also check out the JaxREIA website - that is more of a traditional REIA with regular local meetings and education - and time a visit to JAX around one of their meetings.Welcome to BP!

If so then you would be purchasing that portion as investment no different than a family farm with primary residence and agricultural land all on the same parcel - or a home office = or a BNB.

If it were my property, unless I wanted to do it for philanthropic reasons, I would look at the cost of the solar roof vs. traditional roof, the benefits, and the payback before I proceeded.
