I currently own a 2 unit lake from on portage lakes on 9 lots... currently I owe a Balloon due this June of 149k currently valued with recent sales comps at 310k.

I'm a beginner, though I own a house in the Green Lake / Maple Leaf area that I'm considering turning into a rental -- after I'm done finishing the basement.Have heard some horror stories of being a landlord -- so looking for best practices on how to avoid the horrors.  

I have a friend who was looking for a used double wide to put on a lake property.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for wholesalers in the Clear Lake/Friendswood TX area?  

I wouldn't say its a war zone but it isn't lake drive either.....What is your experience with tenants with your other two units in that area?
