As pointed out by @Frank Chin an LLC for your personal residence will not offer you much protection.Scott Smith of Royal Legal Solutions has some great free resources that explain LLCs and asset protection strategies for real estate. 

There are usually some good, local investors that monitor those forums.

My PMs can set door codes, message (or call) guests, schedule cleaners, adjust the thermostat, monitor my cameras, & call a plumber just as easily as a local PM can, for 1% of the cost.Hire good cleaners, a solid handyman & befriend some helpful neighbors.

@Kane Rickman There is a fairly easy solution for this - a lender can do a TBD underwrite on the file.

Then the wife and I can retire.I was thinking you had a magic solution to getting the 401k nut open. :) That would accelerate my 20%'s for then next 5 years until the Rentals are able to start funding them.I have noticed that I was stuck on the now of investing, not the 5 years from now, in terms of how they can keep the snowball moving.
