I feel the advantages of keeping a W2 is it being recession proof and knowing that you are getting a paycheck every two weeks.

@Jay Hinrichs, they do have air handlers that recess into the ceiling instead of hang on a wall.

The 2" standpipe can be recessed into the wall if necessary.
