-Redecorating your home is basically a competitive sport in Palm Springs: There is a lot of affordable, stylish stuff to be found at the thrift and resale stores.

Full new kitchens, baths, updating electrical boxes etc. 

Better quality fabrics hold up much better.As far as outfitting kitchens, there are so many options, but I went with a full complement, just like I would have in my own home.

Through the last few projects I have found a great plumber, electrician, drywall crew, and a roofing/siding contractor (Happy to provide referrals) but I haven't been able to find the right person(s) to frame walls, install flooring, hang interior doors and trim, do kitchen installs, etc..

And a kitchen faucet that is still frozen, but we should have rain on Monday, so that will take care of itself.

With little structural work needed, the $200,000 renovation budget will mostly be dedicated to completely updating the kitchens and bathrooms, refinishing the existing hardwood floors, removing wallpaper and interior painting, replacing windows and repairing the back decks.

House had a complete refresh of all interiors walls, lighting, upgrade bathrooms, exterior repairs to stucco, fence repair, granite counters and repaint the kitchen cabinets.
