Btw I still use larger print houses to send my large lists but use this procedure for smaller scale stuff like driving for dollars, code violations, pre foreclosure etc.

If you use US mail to contact your congressperson, do NOT send it to their DC office - send it to their local office as any mail you send to them in DC will take a month or more to reach them because of security procedures.

There's a national board of insurance (www.naic.org) that monitors this kind of thing so you might want to get some information from them about proper procedure as well as forms to submit complaints against Allstate if they try to stonewall you.
