The first thing to consider is that the typical sales strategy with a new development is to sell the first set of units at lower prices to help build momentum and amend prices up as successful sales help build buyer-confidence.Depending upon market conditions, the total number of units in the development, and various other factors and variables, the difference between what the first round of buyers pay and the second round can be quite large.The first round of buyers are taking the most risk, and the builder is usually willing to deal a little to get the ball rolling, and so they're often more flexible and willing to negotiate.
