I good friend of mine has a 70% disability rating and almost all of his health problems are due to his weight (back, knees, heart, liver, apnea, diabetes) and he was at least 50 pounds overweight and an alcoholic for his last ten years of military service!

I had a property manager that ended up being a crook/scammer (cost me about $10k), I had a tenant that I had screened well abandon a unit (arrested for felony), another tenant abandon a unit and has bounced rent checks (attempting to collect, owes $5k), and another tenant suddenly had to vacate due to health problems.

I have several concerns:1) Right now the property is not safe to live in (there is potential and precedent for sewage flowing IN to the unit) and I'm concerned about health and sanitation issues. 2) There is no lease currently in effect.
