The owner had the Master bedroom and bathroom, I would have gotten the smaller bedroom for $750/month plus utilities, and he was renting out the basement for $850/month plus utilities.You could even look out to western Howard County in the Fulton/Maple Lawn area.

I bought my 900 sq ft home in Palo Alto in the early 80s for 185k ( large sum then) its over 3 mil today but to be fair they did add a master bedroom and bath so its a 3 and 2 now not 3 and 1 and its now 1500 sq feet LOL..

I furnished it and then rented out the other bedrooms in the house to cover the mortgage.
