We've bought over 200+ units in the Jacksonville, FL area and we currently own and manage 51 units.

Currently we are renting in a city of Orange Co California, where the rent and property prices are higher, however we need to live here due to staying within the school district for my son for at least the next 4 years.Recently we sold some property overseas and have approximately USD $400K in cash.

I think some of this comes from our upbringing and what we’re taught or not taught and how what we saw shaped us in some way.Some of us have further to travel toward a position of financial freedom, but it is not impossible.

I currently have no investments but am working on getting one within the next year.

As others have said, you need to focus on your current team and make sure you are educated enough in order to take the project on. 

As of now, fix up the property to build equity then begin renting out to travel nurses in one year.

I would like to rent it out to traveling nurses or corporate rentals since there is a very large Navy Base there and also 2 hospitals.

Hey all, I was wondering if any of you guys in here are currently or have recently done any sub to / seller financing deals.

If your goal is to keep all the current tenants, it might be wise to avoid it.

I am currently looking for a lender that we can refinance with once our 16 units are stabilized and would appreciate any info you are willing to share.
