The advertisements in question in this investigation include such language as "no children" or "no Section 8," in blatant violation of the law.The settlements, filed today in Suffolk Superior Court, collectively require the property owners and real estate agents to pay the Commonwealth $18,250, ($8,750 of which is suspended pending compliance with the agreements), attend trainings on state and federal fair housing laws, remove lead paint hazards from the rental units, and prohibit the defendants from placing discriminatory advertisements or otherwise discriminating against any person who seeks or applies for housing because they are a member of a protected class.

So i this have plan out as.They are asking $39,000 I would offer $35,000 in cash from a refinance from my current home and $10,000 in savings for rehab.I have not seen the inside of this house yet , i am having a realtor check it out today, so I will know more this afternoon.Then do a purchases option of $3,000 down and $800 a month for 2 years and purchase price of $70,000.This is having the the lessee pay for all repairs up to $500.

I would just add that on top of interest, depreciation and repairs/maintenance there are many other things you can deduct, depending on your situation - things like home office, car/transportation expenses, travel, meals, books/education and many more.
