Repainting the interior walls won’t have any effect on the results of the the swipe test since they don’t swipe the walls.

Between 2 first floor units (front and back) is a standard interior door, with opposite facing deadbolts.

Confirm your plan with your CPA, they know things.If your LLC owned the building, the property tax, lawn care, insurance, mortgage interest and common area lighting would be business expenses, plus a portion of the expenses of the business portion of the interior unit.
