thanks... i found a rei association here in my city and am very interested in checking them out. they meet 4 or 5 times a month around town and every first monday a small group of them get together to play "rat race". 10$ for non-members to attend meetings... 75$ to join, i think if i like it whats 75 bucks these days right?

Up here it tends to be horribly expensive, although when oil was at 4 bucks a gallon a while back, it was getting close.
