Most of the time, they just want a fresh coat of paint.

Hopefully it's walkable to the Fresh Market, great restaurants, and the Red Line.

My mobile home park has been undergoing some major renovations as well, such as freshly paved roads, updated septic system, fencing the property, and security cameras, on top of typical rehabs of each unit.

After 5 years, my expensive renovation it will no longer feel new or freshly remodeled, similar to what a newly built house will feel like after 5 years.

It’s likely that a fresh coat of paint and mid-price flooring will do wonders.

House hacking is the way I would start to buy a home to live in and then rent it out and start fresh after you have the reserves built up to do it again and rinse and repeat.
