Hey everyone, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to do this in, but I've been turned down by most of the lenders I've reach out to. I

I went through the process of demolition, getting plans drawn up, getting contractor bids, getting permits, dealing with subcontractors and finally having the work inspected and now I am just waiting on the final inspections to come through to I can put the place up for rent.

While social media may be helpful in getting a little insight into who you may be renting to, I wouldn't cast judgement based on what I see.

Of course, if the person the deposit is payable to is the one moving out, the other person would have to step up with a deposit.
