Dishes and posts and pans are easy enough to pick up at thrift stores or dollar stores.

We have seen certain tenants start washing dishes in the dishwasher and they had a whole cup, spoon, and plate in it.

Maybe Murphy's Oil soap all of the wood and leave it as is and see if it rents.I say that because you don't know what's behind that paneling (cost $$$)(40 layers of wallpaper, giant cracks in the lath and plaster, etc...) and from the pic it looks like a lot of cabinets (cost $$$) to replace.If it were mine and I decided to leave it as is, I'd probably do the kitchen floor in (period type) 12 x 12 squares and replace the carpet with dark LVP and see how much rent I could get for it.Probably a new Formica top and a new Dish Washer (just to avoid service calls on the old one) and Greige the wall color.Of course from the pics I can't tell the condition of the cabinets--but have have seen similar ones of that age in incredible shape.Good Luck!

I live out in the countryside in an area of ridiculously slow satellite internet so I definitely have tried more than one signal booster in various parts of the house and currently am of the opinion they offer nothing-at least thats how it has worked for me.

My mother-in-law (who has admitted herself that she is not a great cook) once looked at me in bewilderment and asked how I made all of the dishes in a meal come out at the same time. 

The local satellite dish company has been installing dishes on my rental roofs WITHOUT my express permission.

Do you have cable or satellite TV?

There was a large section--about half--of the living room floor, had become "dished".

We do ask that they throw out any trash/ recycle, clean any dirty dishes or put them in the dishwasher and run the cleaning cycle, put all dirty towels in the laundry basket and turn off all ceiling fans and air conditioner.

I've had the occasional call about loud music etc....but I've also seen (with my own eyes) two tenants become great neighbors and attend the neighborhood block party pitch in together with casserole dish in hand.
