@Tom Tao we'd only agree to retain a holdover worker if we got to interview them to make that decision.If an owner wants to take that decision away from us, then the owner can employ them and we'd just do our best to manage them.

This is a two-way interview, so have a short list of questions to ask the mentor (What books do you recommend I read to gain a better understanding?

A recent interview on FF with an MTR operator in Maine highlighted the need to educate neighbors if possible.

Also make sure you interview at least 3 different companies and ask their fees, their business structure and how communication works.  

Also, make sure to visit personally and interview the manager/contractor, etc. 

After I interview them it will be decided who will go to the next step which is  having them do thier  background and credit check. 

I also make sure to let people know how important it is to keep the common spaces clean during the interviews. 

They have interviewed many successful investors that started in the wholesaling business. 

I would say that as long as you're vetting the roommates with full background checks and with a good interview I would be curious what the worries about having roommates would be.
