We wanted to purchase a home to renovate, while also taking advantage of the VA renovation loans ( or repairs loans) so we could build equity in a short period of time and rent out the home basement to help pay the mortgage.Unfortunately due to COVID-19 renovations loans were frozen.

I am guessing you heat by propane and not sure your location but could be cold so no propane = frozen pipes.

We experienced having our Helocs frozen overnight, so I will move quickly on getting a cash out refi on our investment property if we keep it and have been contemplating pulling out the cash on our primary HELOCYes, the stock market is volatile but it's liquid and gives us some diversification.

@david @David Paul Westenberger i have started doing that but as you know most companies have kind of frozen hiring for the time being just to keep costs as minimum as possible until things get back to normal.
