@Kim Synow Lake Erie can be brutal, but it can be profoundly beautiful too...it's probably why people are hush about it...they don't want to give away the secret, lol...we watched a movie not long ago and I was like "damn, Maine is really beautiful"...the credits role and it was filmed at Lake Erie...incredible. 

I also see lots of younger people moving down there for the weather and a more laid back lifestyle that's being increasingly supported by the arts, music, film, culture etc.   

I am from Los Angeles and work in the entertainment industry so I attend the Toronto Film Festival.

I know there is a lot of potential for growth and appreciation in ABQ with Netflix and Amazon, my fiancé is in the film industry and we have seen first hand how much jobs it creates in areas where big studios resides.
