A lot of us (80%) who are high paid professionals who start drinking Kool-Aide will be financially free in 4-7 years pending taking action.

The first pillar is avoiding unnecessary and risky activities (don't drink and drive, insurance generally won’t cover your poor decisions) and take good care of your investments(maintain your property, etc) - these simple steps will help you prevent lawsuits before they even occur.

That is about 6 times higher than what we can get here in California.If I have access to 3% properties that bring $800+/month in rent, I would be retired in less than 2 years and probably be drinking cocktails on some beach in Brazil. :)

Here are some of the meet ups that I have attend:Larry Harbolt's  Monday RE meet up - it's at a Hibachi Buffet - price for the meeting is a couple bucks for a drink or a buffet price of ~$10.95 (I don't remember the exact cost).

Unfortunately, you won't be able to buy a drink since you're only 19, but at least you'll be able to meet some awesome and knowledgeable people!
