Tampa area meet ups or events?

My wife and I are newbies to investing and bigger pockets, and looking to attend some local events to connect and learn. We live in the New Port Richey area and looking for events in the Tampa Bay market. We havent seen anything listed on the site that is coming up.

Hey @Peter Grange welcome to Tampa!

Here are some of the meet ups that I have attend:

1. Larry Harbolt's  Monday RE meet up - it's at a Hibachi Buffet - price for the meeting is a couple bucks for a drink or a buffet price of ~$10.95 (I don't remember the exact cost). It happens every Monday like clockwork.
2. Tampa REIA Main Monthly Meeting - this one costs $20 / visit or the $100 annual fee. They have lots of guest speakers, vendors and networking opportunities. They meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month.
   
3. Creative Real Estate Exchangers - This one happens every Thursday morning.

I've hyperlinked each one to their meetup page. I found them via meetup as well. There's a ton of them going on, and most of them post their meeting information - location, cost, speaker (if applicable) on the MeetUp website and app.
