@Gary Clisele- I'm not a section 8 expert, but I wonder if the high demand is cause by the discrepancy between the section 8 allowed rents and market rate rents.

I can understand if the discrepancy was do to an illegality.  

A number of discrepancies have occurred while working with this lender, and I'm concerned that this comment was more of a pressure tactic than a true statement.  

Just to point out the discrepancies in permitted occupancy rates, the town in which my property is has the following ordinance: Any (ANY!)

Even though there were multiple major discrepancies between the listing and the actual property they were not interested in negotiating.

Regardless, it looks like you are trying to say that there may be a discrepancy in what the owner is stating.  

They said the buildings are grandfathered in because they were built pre '73, but that we'd have to formally subdivide it to correct the parcel boundary discrepancy.  

If you're seeing these kinds of discrepancies on AgentPro, then don't use the list.

In essence what I'm asking is why is there such a discrepancy in the price.

I was searching through Redfin and came across this address 16 E Olympia Ct, Chula Vista, CA 91911 (3-2 1348 square feet in listing but public facts say it is 1072) says first time on the market for $595K (posted 8 days ago) although it also shows sales history in 2001 so there are many discrepancies with this listing but says motivated seller and has not been renovated.Comp 1- 53 E Paisley St, Chula Vista, CA 91911 a few streets over.
