Out of concern for their safety (and admittedly not knowing if I was legally obligated) I did agree to be there for the install. 

Hardship, safety deficiency, mold concern, maintenance can get delayed.

I’ve also managed properties in C class areas I feared for my physical safety and that’s just not worth your time.

Can anyone recommend a semi-affordable security armed response service that would be able to respond quickly?

There is an existing system I want to take out but it's all hooked up and in order to do so the company is charging an arm and leg... or telling me to subscribe to their service.
