I will continue investigating on that area though.My issue with property is that in luxembourg ( wheren I am from) properties are extremely expensive.

Small charges are okay once or twice a year as long as you investigate them and anticipate them, but if something goes awry you want to be in front of it.

DD covers all the parts of the asset, investigation into the underlying property.

Abstract of title also means the investigation of the chain of title including the heirs of the previous owners having rights to title, if any, or the title search.

I will definitely investigate those sources.

I know I'm repeating myself from former posts, but I believe the process should go something like this: a) Careful due diligence to determine current and likely future revenue stream, operating expenses, capital costs, and financing for the particular property; as well as investigation of market data regarding prevailing rents, vacancy levels, cap rates, and general economic trends.

I would make a trip or 2 to the areas you are considering to investigate the area.

So I start investigating the issue.
