It was time to get out and make up for the missed birthdays and holidays.

During those two weeks we have a had a major holiday (Thanksgiving) and several days of rain.

My impression is during the warm months they're very easy to rent and in the colder half of the year it's mostly holidays and weekends with the weekdays being empty, so I'd say it's about the same as many vacation areas. 

I did not respond since our family was already busy with holiday activities.Another hour passed and I got a message from the tenant stating that he was on his way to a bar with his girlfriend and had left a money order under his door mat.  

They wanted to wait until after the holidays to take me through the property and talk details so they weren’t disturbing the tenants. let’s say they do own it free and clear for this example though.
