February 29th, 2024 HUD announced changes to: Support Affordability for Manufactured Homes and Communities Here are some of my thoughts: continued pushing for programs to allow the owners of the homes the ability to buy their communities.

I used to print it as well but that can be a pain if and when anything changes.  

Would it require you to change your lifestyle? 

@Michael Ferrante despite there being a labor shortage, maintenance is never fast enough for the tenants or cheap enough for the owners.

I understand it has the possibility to change yearly but I didn’t expect it to almost double what the mortgage is on the property.

I don't know what you do for work, but I have seen individuals use a large nest egg from real estate to start a business and change their life trajectory.

I don't see the point to get 20k off for 50k worth of work, so we switched to mve in ready properties and just let appreciation do the heavy lifting. 2024 looks like it might bring some change: average days on market are currently at 26 (from 5 most of last summer) and listings that go under contract on the first weekend dropped from 56% last year this time to 25% now. 

In terms of demand, appreciation, changing neighborhood(affects the value of your property) etc.

I would also like to get one of those devices to monitor for smoke and noise (not sure what to get for this either)  What recommendations do you have for a deadbolt keypad that I can change out the code for each new guest?
