@Kusum Chanrai - I have a colleague who purchased a condo in the low $1M range a year or so ago in the Mission Bay area, as the cost of housing in that location will likely continue to appreciate due to the new stadium being built there.

@Michael Gayer JrHe still should complete them, plus W-9 which is the most important one.State taxes have nothing to do with it, it is for Federal (IRS) taxes.If he continues to argue - then I would not hire him.

-I can continue renting to the current tenant, replace with another if needed down the line, and before the 5 year mark, put it on the market and sell my option, keep the difference as profit.
