Conventional lender advised I wouldn't approve for this other project so I went the HM route.Are there banks that allow you to refi sooner than 6 months without it being a 5 year or short term loan?

Any advise on other aspects I should look at before making a decision?

Your situation is fairly common, and I believe none of these potential repairs should kill your deal, nor do I advise backing out.

I advise against buying condos or anything with HOA fees, relying on the collective financial status to upkeep the property's common areas.Trust me.

That's just money you will never recover......In my humble opinion....this advise is worth exactly what you paid for it.

As a fellow investor myself I'd like to give a bit of advise when it comes to condo's specially as to where short term rentals are concerned.

With all due respect, I'm not sure that anyone would advise completely cancelling a deal due to lack of information.

I am an out of state landlord and my philosophy is not to provide more than what is necessary so I don't have to be responsible for the upkeep. pleas advise.
