The MidTerm Rentals are also a great resource especially in the areas close to hospitals for the traveling medical professionals. 

I am looking into other renting options for this property such as air bnb or renting travel nurses and other corporate personnel. 

More like a travel trailer.

On one end there is the kind that’s a slightly longer extension of short term rentals - vacationers, travelers for pleasure, and business travelers staying one month or so and wanting something larger and more residential than a motel/hotel.  

Also, I enjoy traveling so I don't spending money to go there. 

also, you mentioned that investing out of state could be riskier...maybe, but maybe not--it depends on a million different factors (like how much money you have, whether you have a good team in place, your willingness/ability to temporarily move out of state or at least travel out of state, etc., etc.)... 

This is particularly true for tourism-dependent STRs (tourism-dependent markets tend to get hit hardest in recession, because recreational travel is often the first thing people cut from their budget in a tough economy).To make things even more complicated, Air Bnb recently changed their platform significantly to focus on A+ top-end, highly unique properties (think: luxury waterfront treehouses).

I have been searching hard for the perfect home in Southern IL that I can house hack and rent rooms to travel nurses. 

My wife and I are traveling to the great state of Florida next week from September 15th tot he 20th.

As long as you're not needing to tow anything, or travel very far. you'll be ok I guess.....
