As a last resort, security deposits will help offset some (not all) the financial loss.

If those aren't options, I'd suggest 8-15% APR, although IMO friends should be the last resort.

I feel like most people starting out won't have that high volume when there are already other players in the area?

I am resorting to looking into buying cash at auction because it might be the only place I can find any decent deals.

These type of banks  recall loans as absolute last resort and will work with you during crisis.
