My leases are explicit in that the tenant is not allowed to paint without express written authorization from the landlord and if authorized, it's at the tenants expense.

All that being said, we feel that we have encouraged you to search for this new vanity, without directly expressing our policy; because of this, we have decided to make a one time exception, and pay for 50% of the Cost of the Vanity itself and Installation(New Supply Lines, Valves, etc.).
