You can google search the difference between RCV and ACV coverage and get a pretty good explanation on that.Ask how they carrier will settle a total loss vs a partial loss? 

You can than contact that realtor and say, "I'm interested in your property @ XXX Street and any other similar properties, can you set up a search for me...."

Then I would start search ABB for "like" properties and build the big spreadsheet all of us successful investors have done in the past to analyse the feasibility of the property. 

I’d buy them individually, all at once.....the financing rate and 30 years would offset any additional closing costs, and many of the costs you’ll have will be the same anyway...title search/insurances, appraisals, recordings, etc.

But for the purpose of my own research, I google online, a website called forsalebyowner.ca pops up.
