In the meantime I figured I'd come up with a logo for us to use on business cards, signs, etc. 

@David Tipton True, I forgot the mention that the said $800-tax only applies to LLC incorporated in CA or doing business in CA (generating revenue from being active in CA).

The tank is only required when the water supply system incorporates a backflow prevention device, check valve or similar device.

I was dealing with a house that was only from the 50's and you just have no idea how much I regret not just ripping off all the drywall in kitchen and bathroom and arranged for the SOW and budget to incorporate the plumbing and electrical (I might have guessed about the sub-floor but not really the rotten and unsupporting studs).

I personalized our invoices to include our LLC's logo and renamed the invoice "Rent Due".  

If you live in a diverse city, it might help to incorporate this strategy.

I was emailing with a REI marketing company today when my wife and biz partner (@Elizabeth Wilson) threw out the not practical but crazy idea of "live bandit signs" where we hire beautiful and buff people to body paint with our "we buy houses" logo and have them walk around busy intersections in Memphis.Obviously we aren't going to do this, but it did get me thinking about other ways we could market that takes current ideas and tweak them in unusual ways.
