I’m moving into a SFH w/ADU in East Austin soon and will start looking for a duplex to house hack shortly after.

I am new to this as well and planning my first flip to be toward the middle of this year.

I believ somwhere in the middle maybe sounds about right(again have to dig a bit more to see what the area is like) but riverpark area seems like a prime location.

@Bryce Deeney all, with the exception of 95% of east cleveland,  West side near Storer and Fullerton ave .

For instance, a home near Gravelly Lake will generate much more revenue than a Lakewood home east of I-5.

From a location standpoint our investments (small multi-family) are in Edgewater, Ohio City, Newburgh Heights, and East Cleveland.

Bayonne has a lot of potential, large buildings being built all arround, and the East section from route 440 under development will bring even more value to this area, also ferry to NY being under review for this area.

I would ditch the property if it is the middle of nowhere. 

The house seems to be right on the divide of small city commercial downtown properties, a few middle class homes between us and downtown, and then some middle to lower class homes on the other side opposite downtown.
