I joined some local facebook groups and am looking for local meetups in the Madison area.

So a couple of personal friends of mine have gotten their real estate licenses and one of them even joined the same brokerage as me.

Specifically what areas in those towns should be avoided.Also, I noticed that there's a meetup group for CT, but they're mainly focusing on the more southern part of CT, which I'm not as interested in, so if anyone knows about a different group for Hartford county, I would love to join and make more connections.Thank you for your time!

I decided to join a team where I had a mentor and they also provide leads to me.

So happy to join the BP community as I feel like a real estate rookie in the US market :)For now, I am currently looking for a place to rent in Charlotte. 

I just so happen to be a mentor in those groups there as well and not telling you to join because of me, I get nothing out of it. 

Sometimes I look on the ads....or a facebook site for tenants I have joined (just to see what renters are dealing with) and the rents being posted are impressive.That's not to say that all these places are being rented.
